Creative Writing Nature Trail

In this wee walking and writing workshop, ideal for 8-14 year olds, we shall pay attention to the natural world that is all around us – sometimes in surprising places. How would a dandelion speak to a pigeon? What kind of memories does the once-shifting sand of the abbey stones want to share with you? How does your own mood change in the rain, the wind, or the sun?

Poet Samuel Tongue will offer a short guided walk from Heron and Willow bookshop and back, notebooks in hand, and explore how creative words can help us pay attention to the many different worlds that make up the familiar places we call home.

All children must be accompanied by an adult but please only book tickets for the children that are attending.
